David is certainly doing his part to preserve the ancient Sanskrit texts of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. I extend my deepest thanks and appreciation, as I know how time consuming and expensive it is to collect materials such as these. May they be available for future generations, now that digital technology (which is increasingly inexpensive) can serve as a greater means, possibly, than even paper, considering copies can be sent anywhere in the world in a matter of seconds, with no damage to the originals. The more they are used, sent and received, the greater will be the chances they will escape storage damage from cosmic and other causes which also lend support to the sharing of this data. The more copies there are, the greater the chances of there being a copy available to future generations. Unfortunately that was not so for ancient Asia. Of course there is the inevitable fact that paper is unable to escape the trammels of misuse by humans, insects, fire and water.
