THE ETERNAL PARENT WRAPPED IN HER EVER INVISIBLE ROBES HAD SLUMBERED ONCE AGAIN FOR SEVEN ETERNITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1a.\u00a0 THE Eternal Mother (space) wrapped in her ever invisible robes (cosmic prenebular matter had slumbered for seven Eternities,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Tho-ag in zhi-gyu slept seven Khorlo<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Potential of Spatiality as the Fundamental Cause [or Causal Ground]\u00a0 slept for seven cycles<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tho-ok = the \u2018boundless all\u2019 equivalent to Parmenides <em>apeiron<\/em> = boundless<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tho = above and ok = below (see example of this usage in the Throma sadhana). Tibetan often makes use of two extremes to create a definition, in this case \u2018above\/below\u2019 giving the meaning of \u2018spatiality\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Zhi gyu = uncaused cause or fundamental cause ( Zhi-ma would negate this)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. This would be \u2018aja-sakti, the unborn, a Dzogchen term which Blavatsky references in her article on \u2018Tibetan Teachings\u2019 give ref.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All Nyug bosom.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>All was in [the bosom of] the Ultimate Natural State.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nyug is the same as Nyuk. The nyuk that David Reigle is referring to is spelled snug and means quite correctly duration. However gnyug(ma) which is usually short for gnyug ma\u2019i sems means the genuine innate, interrupted ongoing, perpetual, original natural state or nature or the authentic original untouched nature which is virtually synonymous with Dzogchen. It is said to be \u2018ma sam gur pay nur lay day\u2019 = inconceivable and ineffable and cannot be an object of intellective consciousness. As Joseph Campbell says \u201cno tongue can soil it with a name.\u201d The secondary meaning is of continuously residing or indigenous = Sanskrit nija. \u2018Nyuk me sems\u2019 is a synonym for rigpa, the uncontrived untouched natural complete awareness spontaneously present. The original, indigenous \u2018resident\u2019 of the universe, the mandala of Samantabhadra. The \u2018ma\u2019 in gnyugma\u2019 = the motherly underlying empty essence and refers directly to the prajna paramita \u2013 the motherly wisdom of the Buddhas.\u00a0 Blavatsky conveys this by her use of the word \u2018bosom\u2019 as a poetic metaphor to convey the correct feeling tone for this meaning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>UNIVERSAL MIND WAS NOT, FOR THERE WERE NO AH-HI TO CONTAIN IT.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3a. It could be translated as \u2018supreme superiors\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Regarding \u2018AH-HI\u2019, the expression \u2018Ah-hay\u2019 = \u2018hadewa\u2019 which means the awe surprised wondering awareness, uncontained. Nang = the same meaning as Pleroma in Greek = \u2018lighting up\u2019\u00a0 and implying objects of cognition.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. THE SEVEN SUBLIME LORDS AND THE SEVEN TRUTHS HAD CEASED TO BE, AND THE UNIVERSE, THE SON OF NECESSITY, WAS IMMERSED IN PARANISHPANNA, TO BE OUTBREATHED BY THAT WHICH IS AND YET IS NOT.\u00a0 NAUGHT WAS.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6a.\u00a0 The seven sublime Truths, and the Seven Srutis\u2014had ceased to be, and the Universe, the Son of Necessity, was plunged in Paranishpanna (absolute perfecton, Paranivwana, which is Jong-grub)\u2014to be outbreathed by that which is, and yet is not.
